The Station House Hotel is a picture postcard wedding venue which is a haven of tranquillity. The Station House was saved from dereliction by Chris and Thelma Slattery in 1981 which was almost 20 years after the last train had passed the house; stopping at Kilmessan for passengers as it went.
The romance of the structure lured the couple to purchase and restore it and it has since evolved into a beautiful, luxury hotel and restaurant. 12 acres surround the hotel and most of this acreage has been transformed into hills, lawns and gardens which are beautiful in all the seasons.
The Carriage Suite is a dream reception room, it has deep red carpets, gold curtains and traditional oil paintings hang on the walls. This stylish venue can cater for up to 180 happy wedding guests and this beautiful building is privately self-contained; set apart from the Hotel proper.

The Station House Hotel’s management and wedding co-ordinators will be happy to meet with you and discuss all that you desire for your special day, from the menus, to the flowers. We’ll take into account any special requirements you may have and will do our utmost to ensure that you are having a most pleasurable, memorable time.
