Royal Hotel Bray, Accommodation
Recommended by the AA, the RAC and Bord Fáilte (The Irish
Tourist Board), Bray’s three star Royal Hotel and Leisure Centre
is one of the largest hotels in County Wicklow.
Accommodation consists of 130 stylishly decorated and equipped
bedrooms spread over four floors. Twin, double, triple, and
family rooms (one double and two singles) are all available.
All hotel accommodation is en suite, with high quality
furnishings and colour co-ordinated fabrics. Direct dial
telephone, hairdryers, and tea/coffee making facilities are
standard features throughout the hotel.
Multi-channel T.V. is standard throughout the hotel’s
accommodation, with an in-house video for children screened each
evening at 6pm, followed by videos for the grown-ups at 7.30pm,
and again at 9pm. An extensive room service menu is available 24
hours a day.
Laundry facilities are available from Monday through Friday.
The Royal Hotel Bray has smoking and non-smoking rooms.
Most of the en suites feature shower over bath. Some of the
hotel rooms, however, have showers only, for ease of access for
guests whose mobility is restricted. An elevator carries guests
to all floors, and all the hotel’s public areas are accessible
to disabled guests. |

corporate meetings. Ample secure car parking is available to the
rear of the hotel, but the hotel is also easily reached by
public transport from Dublin city airport; Dublin, Dun Laoghaire
and Rosslare (Wexford) ferry ports; or by train or bus from any

the DART - will take visitors from Dublin
city to Bray railway station in 35 minutes |

mainline trains from Northern Ireland at
Connolly Station or with Buslink, ferrying

country from Heuston Station), or from Dun
Laoghaire’s ferry port in 20 minutes. A
combination (known as Airlink) of this
service with a special bus link will bring
guests from Dublin city airport in just over
an hour. Mainline train services will bring
delegates from Rosslare ferry port (Wexford)
in approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. |
