Our Private Yacht
Our Luxury private 70 foot yacht has three spacious double cabins and can comfortably accommodate six people to sleep aboard. All the facilities are as you would expect on a beautifully fitted luxury yacht. Our standards at Rosedale House have been mirrored on Bjorg with monogrammed fluffy towels and bathrobes, cream velvet carpet and plenty of iced champagne! We provide a crew and hostess as standard on our yacht to leave our guests free to enjoy the freedom of being on the open water while their needs are pampered.

Your Itinerary can be customized to suit your wishes and if your hearts desire is to charter Bjorg from the Riviera, then we will organize everything to facilitate you. The open water has so many appeals that have to be experienced to be appreciated. Why not indulge your friends, wedding guests or work colleagues and invite them aboard for an evening drinks reception or afternoon cocktail party? Or perhaps after your wedding reception at Rosedale House you would like to charter our yacht from the South of France for your honeymoon. We are truly delighted that we can offer you this extra icing on your wedding cake!

Rosedale House
You can also enjoy the landscaped gardens or relax and dine on the terrace in the walled garden or...

simply take a trip into Dublin city centre for an evening out. For other day time activity why not try out one of the world class golf courses nearby or a bit of horse riding, fishing or a wander in the “The Garden of Ireland” – the nearby Wicklow Mountains visible from the house. In winter you may wish to curl up by a roaring log fire and while away the day in this peaceful and tranquil setting.

The current owners have completely renovated Rosedale House and kept the gardens organic and pesticide free for over 20 years.

Rosedale House History
Rosedale House was built in 1862 by Guinness Master brewer “Penny” as his family home.

It is a gracious double fronted Georgian house with parkland surroundings and beautiful gardens. The gardens were designed by David Moore, a close friend of the Plunkett family who lived in Rosedale when it was first built. Moore was curator of the National Botanic Gardens in Glasnevin.

He called upon the owners of large estates and gardens in Ireland to cultivate rare exotic plant varieties not expected to thrive in Glasnevin. The planting of Rosedale House, Headfort and Fota Island attest to this.
