The Marriot Johnstown House Hotel is a wedding venue which pledges to ensure that your wedding is as comfortable, sophisticated and memorable as possible. Weddings are of the greatest importance to all the staff at Marriot Johnstown and we believe that your wedding requires the most excellent setting, facilities and services.

120 acres of beautiful private gardens and woodland surround the Hotel. There are historic, authentically refreshed walled gardens and gorgeous walkways between tall densely leaved trees. These lush outdoor spaces are ideal for wedding photography.

Chandeliers sparkle in the grand Banquet Suite which can cater for between 120 and 500 diners, a private reception is also sectioned off which is perfect for arrival drinks. For more intimate weddings you might like to choose the Private Dining Room which can cater for up to 50 guests, this is in the original manor house and is Georgian in style and decor.

Originally a 1750’s luxury country residence, this Georgian manse looks more beautiful now than ever and is now a most unique and prestigious luxury Hotel and Spa with an AA 4 star rating and 120 acres of rambling parkland.

The Hotel is also only 35 minutes away from the bustling city of Dublin and the age old charm of the building is complemented by the modernity of the state-of-the-art leisure facilities and high-class culinary services.

The Coach House bar is well-known for its old fashioned hospitality, friendly service and Georgian styling. The best place for lunch or a delightful breakfast is The Atrium Brasserie and for an elegant fine dining experience you must visit our acclaimed restaurant The Pavillion.

The Marriot Johnstown Hotel and Spa also has a magnificent Ball Room, which can accommodate up to 900 guests and there are 120 beautifully appointed large ensuite guest rooms at the Hotel. ‘The Residences’ are newly available and these are self-catering duplexes which have also been added to the Hotel’s accommodation portfolio, these are 40, 2 bedroom premises.

The Spa at The Marriot Johnstown Hotel is the hotel’s crowning glory, well-known as one of Ireland’s leading Spas, the €10 million, luxury building takes up a commanding 30,000 square feet and has a number of high-technology excellent features and treatments.

There are 13 treatment suites, a hydrotherapy pool room, a precious stone temple, a relaxation room, a floatation room, and a Hamam and Serial suite. The Spa is a comforting and healing space with candle-lit halls. Outdoors there is a Canadian style hot tub and a Jacuzzi bath.

If you want to relax and also get some exercise there is a Gymnasium on site, with a 25 meter swimming pool, all the essential equipment, a climbing wall, a golf simulator and various jogging trails. The golf simulator will allow you to play all of the best PGA golf courses.

If you’re looking for excitement, why not head over to the corporate activity centre which offers off-road driving, clay pigeon or rifle shooting, archery, falconry and a number of other experiences.

The treatments at the Johnstown Spa are designed to take away the stresses and strains of the everyday world and instil a sense of peace and calm; however, many treatments also improve circulation, skin tone and benefit you in other ways. Elemis therapies begin with The Welcome Touch which is a foot cleansing treatment, feet are rubbed with essential oils and warm compresses are used. There’s also a complimentary hot thermal suite collection and you may find it impossible not to relax with the Finnish sauna, caldarium and aromatherapy steam room also available.

Special complementary services and discounts apply to some mid-week weddings. Offers do not apply on Bank Holidays or during the period between the 18th and 31st of December. However, for parties of 100 or more offers can be attained on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays between March and October.
