
This wedding venue is discreetly tucked into the peaceful landscape of Monaghan. Seventy minutes away from Belfast and ninety minutes away from Dublin, this incredible venue is a well-connected, yet tranquil Irish retreat. Nestled in park and woodland which spans some thousand acres, it is a picturesque and tranquil place to enjoy your wedding ceremony and reception.
You can enjoy a delicious drink while you warm yourselves beside a roaring log fire and admire the wonderful antiques, beautiful furnishings and elegant Victorian architecture that the residence has to offer.
It is The Club at the expansive Castle Leslie proper, in which, couples can celebrate their special day and a sensitive regime of restoration has made the Castle a truly enchanting place. The famous family from which Castle Leslie takes its name still lives here and traditional, if luxurious, hospitality is a long-held standard.
Smaller, more intimate weddings for up to 40 guests can be held in the glorious Gallery room of the Castle with its vaulted ‘barrel’ ceiling and 40 foot mahogany Club Table. Guests can also choose from 20 unique, luxury bedrooms and have access to The Gallery, The Billiard Room, The West Wing, The Long Gallery, The Private Cinema Room, The Library and 14 acres of lush gardens. Guests are encouraged to take advantage of the captivating landscape and to take photographs.
The Club Pavilion is an enchanting outdoor space. Located in the Castle gardens the pavilion is an ideal place to entertain and can accommodate up to 300 people. Taking in magical views of the lake and enjoying a delicious five course meal is an exceptionally romantic experience and a perfect way to celebrate your wedding. Club banquets are prepared by highly-trained chefs and you can also choose the right wine to complement your dining experience.

For weddings with up to 60 guests The Hunting Lodge is ideal. A carefully restored Victorian building, which can provide up to 30 bedrooms and a special room for the Bride and Groom, this fabulous lodge also benefits from The Victorian Spa. The Spa allows couples and guests the benefit of relaxation and affords them specialist beauty treatments which will make them glow on the day!
For larger weddings there are a number of options available. Additional to the 20 bedrooms at the Castle and the 30 at The Hunting Lodge there are also rooms at The Old Stable Mews. These Self-catering mews are arranged in a delightful courtyard and contain 25 bedrooms in total. There are also 12 Village cottages on the Castle Leslie Estate and each of these have 4 or 5 bedrooms which provides an additional 52 rooms for those choosing to stay overnight.
If you are interested in outdoor pursuits there is an Equestrian Playground, where guests can ride horses and go on treks through the woodland and gardens. When guests return from their day outdoors they can refresh themselves in the Victorian Spa with a range of indulgent treatments including a Chocolate Truffle Wrap, Massage or Facial.
Guests who enjoy cooking could take one of the courses available in the castle’s state-of-the-art kitchen, the Cooking Courses last either one or two days and are a fun way for guests to spend some time before or after your wedding day.
